Terms & Condition

• Quotations: All quotations provided by Good Deal Floors are valid for a period of [e.g., 30 days] unless otherwise stated in writing. Quotations are estimates and do not constitute a final contract until an order is placed and a deposit is paid.
• Order Acceptance: All orders are subject to acceptance by Good Deal Floors. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at our discretion, for any reason.
• Pricing and Payment: A deposit of [e.g., 25-50%] is required to confirm an order.1 The final payment is due upon completion of the installation. We reserve the right to charge a late fee of [e.g., 1.5%] per month on any overdue invoices.
• Product Availability: All products are subject to availability. We are not responsible for delays caused by our suppliers.

• Delivery Times: Any dates quoted for delivery are approximate only. We will make every effort to meet estimated delivery and installation dates, but we are not liable for any delays that are beyond our control.

• Customer Responsibilities:
  • The customer is responsible for ensuring the work area is clear of all furniture, personal belongings, and old flooring prior to our arrival, unless otherwise specified in your quote.
  • The sub-floor must be clean, dry, level, and free of all debris and moisture. Any sub-floor preparation, including levelling or moisture mitigation, is the responsibility of the customer unless explicitly included in your quote as an additional cost.
  • The customer must ensure adequate power, lighting, and ventilation are available at the job site.

• Damages: We are not responsible for any damage to walls, doors, or other surfaces that occurs during the normal course of installation, or for any incidental dust or debris. The customer is responsible for taking measures to protect their property.

• Product Variation: Wood is a natural product and will have variations in color, grain, and knots.3 These are not considered defects. Similarly, man-made products may have slight shade variations between dye lots.
• Customer Inspection: The customer is responsible for inspecting all products upon delivery and before installation.4 Installation of the product constitutes acceptance of the material "as is," and no claims will be accepted after installation.
• Manufacturer Warranties: Any warranty provided for a product is the manufacturer's warranty. Good Deal Floors does not provide any additional warranty on products.
• Claims: Any claims for defective workmanship must be made in writing within 7 days of the completion of the work.

• Returns: We do not accept returns on special order items. Non-custom products may be returned within 30 days of purchase, subject to a restocking fee of 25%, provided they are in their original, unopened, and undamaged condition.
• Cancellations: If a customer wishes to cancel an order after it has been placed, they may be subject to a cancellation fee and forfeiture of the deposit.

In no event shall Good Deal Floors be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages or other losses arising out of this agreement or the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific products or services in question.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of [e.g., New South Wales, Australia]. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [e.g., New South Wales, Australia].
